What is the difference between the red and blue ignition coils??

We have the red coils for the EA888 1st and 2nd generation as well as for the EA888 3rd generation.

In the coils for the 1st and 2nd generation, the blue coils (plasma coils) have a stronger ignition spark and therefore even better combustion, which also reduces fuel consumption.

In the 3rd generation EA888, the red coils have a stronger and more stable ignition spark than the black coils.
